Op zaterdag 11 oktober 2025 vond in het voormalig ING-gebouw in Terneuzen Table Settings: Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden plaats, met bijdragen van Eline De Clercq en Aslı Hatipoğlu. Deze editie werd georganiseerd in het kader van Coming Out Day en maakte deel uit van InsideOUT, het driedaagse film- en publieksprogramma (9–11 oktober), in samenwerking met ArtBase Terneuzen, COC Zeeland & West-Brabant en het Lodewijk College.
Tijdens deze middag gingen Eline De Clercq, Asli Hatipoğlu en Adriënne van der Werf met elkaar, en het publiek, in gesprek over tuinieren, queerness en zorgpraktijken. Daarbij stond Gesamthof, de trans- en lesbische tuin van Eline De Clercq centraal. Samen keken we de film Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden, van Eline De Clercq en Anne Reijniers, waarna Aslı Hatipoğlu het programma afrondde met een collectief diner, geïnspireerd op medicinale kruiden en queer zorgpraktijken uit de tuin.
Table Settings is het presentatieprogramma van Nesse, waarin de tafel als uitgangspunt wordt genomen om het format van een artist talk uit te dagen en in te spelen op actuele thema’s. Table Settings: Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden is samengesteld in relatie tot de jaarlijkse Coming Out Dag, de gedenkdag op 11 oktober ter ere van LGBTQIA+-mensen die besluiten openlijk met hun geaardheid te leven. Op deze dag vindt ook de uitreiking van de Zeeuwse Parel plaats in het Stadhuis van Terneuzen door burgemeester Erik van Merrienboer. Deze tweejaarlijkse prijs wordt toegekend aan mensen, groepen of organisaties die zich inzetten voor de acceptatie, zichtbaarheid en veiligheid van lhbtiqa+ personen in Zeeland.
On Saturday 11 October 2025, Table Settings: Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden took place in the former ING building in Terneuzen, with contributions by Eline De Clercq and Asli Hatipoğlu. This edition was organised in the context of Coming Out Day and was part of InsideOUT, the three-day film and public programme (9–11 October), in collaboration with ArtBase Terneuzen, COC Zeeland & West Brabant, and the Lodewijk College.
During the afternoon, Eline De Clercq, Aslı Hatipoğlu and Adriënne van der Werf engaged in a conversation—with each other and with the audience—about gardening, queerness and practices of care. Central to the discussion was Gesamthof, the trans and lesbian garden created by Eline De Clercq. Together, we watched the film Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden by Eline De Clercq and Anne Reijniers, after which Aslı Hatipoğlu concluded the programme with a collective dinner,inspired by medicinal herbs and queer care practices from the garden.
Table Settings is Nesse’s presentation programme, in which the table serves as a vessel to reimagine the format of the artist talk. This edition is presented in relation to Coming Out Day, honouring LGBTQIA+ people who choose to live openly with their sexual orientation. Table Settings: Gesamthof / A Lesbian Garden will take place prior to the presentation of the Zeeuwse Parel (by invitation only), a biennial award recognising individuals, groups, or organisations who contribute to the acceptance, visibility, and safety of LGBTQIA+ people in Zeeland.
